“These are not books, lumps of lifeless paper, but minds alive on the shelves.”
~Gilbert Highet 1906-1078, Teacher & Scholar
Welcome to the WRITERS’ BLOCK, where loitering is welcomed. Typically, when writers suffer from or hear the words “writer’s block”, they cringe. This term is used to express the interrupted flow of writing, which is often a writer’s worse nightmare. However, on this page, WRITERS’ BLOCK will take on a whole different meaning. On this block, we will showcase some of the literary industry’s talented writers and their work. By spreading the word, we will shine the light on those authors who don’t receive the recognition they truly deserve.
If you’re interested in having your book featured on the WRITERS’ BLOCK, the only requirement is you must mail two (2) copies of your novel, along with a brief bio (if available). There is no charge for this service.
This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
to send your request, and you will receive an email with our mailing address.
Please note: review copies will not be returned and they must NOT be autographed. Poetry, e-books, and unbound copies will not be accepted.
So, welcome to our block, but please, no littering. Enjoy!
“The first chapter sells the book; the last chapter sells the next book.”
--Mickey Spillane
